Job Summary

We wish to appoint an experienced, motivated Senior Biomedical Scientist, with the necessary knowledge and skills in Biochemistry to join our team at Wrexham Maelor Hospital.

The successful candidate will be able to focus on quality and service provision and will have interpersonal skills to lead the team as you achieve change and improvement by working with our established Blood Sciences site management team.

Experience

Essential

  • Good, up to date knowledge of laboratory services relevant to a named blood sciences specialty.
  • Knowledge & Experience of a wider Blood Sciences Service
  • Evidence of involvement with service development
  • Clinical laboratory post-registration experience
  • Knowledge and experience of delivering quality led laboratory services

Desirable

  • Evidence of managing a laboratory or sections within a laboratory
  • Ability to speak Welsh
