Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber and electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be capable of performing a variety of tasks related to installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires both technical expertise and the ability to work effectively in various environments, ensuring that all plumbing and electrician work is completed to the highest standards.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
• Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and wiring and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems.
• Conduct inspections of electric systems to identify issues or potential problems.
• Perform welding tasks as needed for pipe repairs or installations.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to ensure comprehensive project completion.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Adhere to safety regulations and best practices while on the job site.
• Lift heavy materials and equipment as required during installations or repairs.

Skills

• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
• Basic maths skills for measuring, calculating material needs, and ensuring precise installations.
• Experience in welding techniques for pipe joining is advantageous.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily duties.
• A valid commercial driving licence is preferred for transportation of materials when necessary.
• Ability to plumb efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Experience:

• Plumbing and electrician: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
