Cyber Security Analyst: Sponsorship Available

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team and safeguard our organisation’s digital assets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks.

Duties

• Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and threats
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organisation’s systems and data
• Monitor network activity for signs of security breaches
• Develop and implement incident response plans
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security best practices are followed
• Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies

Qualifications

• Proficient in network management, DNS, AWS, disaster recovery, virtualisation, IPsec, openSUSE, network protocols, LDAP, and NFS
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical information effectively
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP or CISM are advantageous
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
