Responsibilities
– Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
– Support individuals in daily living activities, including meal preparation and feeding.
– Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
– Follow care plans as directed by healthcare professionals and report any changes in patient condition.
– Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
– Document patient progress and any relevant information accurately in accordance with organisational policies.
– Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge related to patient care.

Skills
– Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to facilitate effective communication with patients and colleagues.
– Basic IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
– A valid driving licence is preferred for roles that require travel between locations.
– Experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential.
– Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.
– Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathise and connect with patients on a personal level.
