You will be part of the Software Development team within the Digital, Data and Technology directorate and will have a range of technical responsibilities, working collaboratively within small multidisciplinary teams.

Main duties of the job
You should have significant and demonstrable experience in the following areas:
Essential
- Experience of a modern industry standard integrated development environment such as Visual Studio professional
- Experience of an industry standard DB management systems such SQL Service Management System
- Experience of ISS for web application deployment and management
- Experience of managing a backlog, such as breaking down requirements into work items and tasks
- Highly proficient in the use of C# programming language
- Proficient in the use of Transact SQL
- Proficient in the use of HTML5 / CSS / Bootstrap for front end development
- Proficient in the use JSON / XML
- Proficient in application development using .Net 8 (or greater)
- Proficient in application development using MVC / Web API
- Highly proficient in the use of SOLID & OOP
- Experience of class library development for plugin architecture
- Experience of using a modern authorization protocol such as OAuth 2.0
- Proficient in the use of HTTP
Desirable
- Knowledge of HL7 v2 and FHIR R4
- Experience of FHIR Firely API for accessing FHIR data
- Experience of using Microsoft Entra ID
- Experience of other aspects of our technology stack
