Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, innovative Applications Team Lead with experience of TPP SystmOne to join our team, who will lead on the maintenance and development of the Trust’s community Electronic Patient Record.

The post holder will be responsible for the day to day line management and performance of the Application Analysts within the community workstream of the Enterprise and Clinical Applications Team, leading on the day to day running of the system, as well as analysing and interpreting current clinical workflows and designing solutions utilising the clinical system’s advanced functionality.

 

Main duties of the job

This is a key role in the configuration of the Trust’s clinical applications. The emphasis will be to take a creative and visionary approach to the design and build of the clinical application, using a core configuration tools (SQL, C# or SSRS skills are not required).

An important aspect of the role includes the analysis and interpretation of current work flows and practices, working in partnership with clinical services. You will be self-directed, tenacious, yet able to work as a key member of a multidisciplinary team with a flexible approach.

Please note: this role is office based at Turnpike House / Clinical Sciences Building (Salford Royal Hospital) with occasional requirements to visit the main hospital or community sites.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Relevant Masters level or equivalent significant experience

Desirable

  • Qualification and experience in the management of people
  • IT or Healthcare professional qualification

Knowledge, Training & Experience

Essential

  • An excellent level of IT literacy and experience of using Microsoft Office Package
  • Experience as an EPR or IT analyst
  • Experience of Configuring TPP SystmOne EPR

Desirable

  • Experience within a clinical area/department
