Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the busy Radiology teams within The Northumbria NHS Foundation trust – There are positions available at Wansbeck General Hospital.

We are seeking to recruit Radiographers to provide cover in busy departments within the trust. The post holder will be required to work out of hours and weekends, evenings and night shifts.

The post holder will be expected to actively take part in continuous professional development.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be part of the shift rota.

The post holder may be required to rotate between sites across the Trust.

There is an expectation that the post holder will actively take part in CPD and discussion. They will also help to mentor students and supervise assistant practitioners.

Qualifications

Essential

  • BSc in Radiography or equivalent
  • HPC Registration
  • Must have evidence of ongoing CPD
