At North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust, we have high ambitions and are committed to delivering exceptional care for the populations we serve. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Surgical Services Team, working across Hand & Wrist and Podiatric Surgery specialties.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team including Consultants, Podiatrists, Nurses, and Healthcare Assistants, providing high-quality, patient-centred care in both outpatient and theatre settings.
Main duties of the job
Assist with pre-operative assessment and prehabilitation
Undertake wound care and redressing’s Support patients throughout their surgical journey
Participate in theatre duties, including circulating and scrub roles
Work collaboratively within a dynamic surgical team
All training will be provided, subject to meeting essential criteria.

- Practitioner/ nursing associate foundation degree qualification
- Relevant healthcare qualification or experience
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable
- Knowledge of infection control and theatre protocols
- Previous experience in surgical or outpatient settings
