The CT scanning department currently has nine state of the art CT scanners. increasing to 11. with the planned opening of the UHNM CDC at the beginning of April 2026 , providing support to a wide range of referrers, including the level 1 Major Trauma centre, Vascular and Neuro intervention, Paediatric , Musculo skeletal, and Oncology services.

Being part of the University Hospital of North Midlands brings with it the opportunity to contributing to the training of student Radiographers on their clinical placement and of CT Radiographers on Band 5/6 preceptorship.

 

Main duties of the job

Your day to day role would include:

  •  Efficient and effective running of the CT lists, ensuring that policies and procedures are adhered to provide a safe and efficient environment for the patient
  • Participate in the supervision of student Radiographers and training of CT Radiographers on Band 5/6 preceptorship
  • Maintaining good working relationships with all Departments
