Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust (MSEFT) provides services to the residents of Southend, Basildon, and Chelmsford. It was formed in April 2020 by the merger of Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust, and Basildon & Thurrock University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT) provides community health, mental health and learning disability services to support more 3.2 million people living across Bedfordshire, Essex, and Suffolk.

Main duties of the job

EPUT and MSEFT are embarking on the implementation of a UK first of type Unified Electronic Patient Record (UEPR) system that spans Acute, Mental Health and Community services. The new system will be delivered through the Nova Programme, alongside our commercial partners for this significant transformative journey.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent experience such as applied science of IT or possesses specialised expert knowledge gained through real world experience in development and/or integration
  • Evidence of Continuous Professional Development
  • Substantial experience in a digital service problem solving role

Desirable

  • NHS Operational Background
  • Recognised Experience with Integration Engines, solutions and methodologies.

Knowledge

Essential

  • Demonstrable knowledge in problem solving or software development background
  • Demonstrable experience of working within a project / delivery environment

Desirable

  • Understanding of integration technologies and topologies
  • Demonstrable success in working within a team
