Job Summary

We are currently seeking Qualified Paramedics to join Lincolnshire Division. We are looking to recruit in the East and South of the county

Candidates who are successful at shortlisting stage will be informed of the next stages of the process in due course. The selection process will likely include a mix of clinical scenarios/assessments and interview.

 

Main duties of the job

As a Band 6 paramedic you are expected to provide guidance and support to newly qualified paramedics, associate ambulance practitioners/technicians and care assistants. You will need to evidence that you are up to date and have maintained continual professional development as a paramedic.

You will already hold your C1 category on your driving license and you will need to provide evidence that you have completed a qualification allowing you to drive under blue light conditions in a C1 size vehicle (examples, IHCD D1/D2 or Futurequals Emergency Ambulance Driving).

Essential

  • HCPC-approved Paramedic qualification (IHCD, DipHE, FDSc, BSc)
  • Full clean driving licence including Category A – old style licence – or Categories C1 – new style licence
  • Ambulance Emergency Driving Certificate
  • Professional Clinical Knowledge acquired through training or experience to degree
