Your Role

As a Care Assistant, you will:

  • Support individuals transitioning from hospital back to their homes
  • Help service users regain independence and confidence
  • Deliver care in line with personalised care plans
  • Assist with:
  • Personal care
  • Medication administration
  • Monitoring vital signs
  • Exercise and rehabilitation support
  • Domestic tasks
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals such as district nurses and pharmacies

Our goal: Help people rehabilitate, maximise their potential, and live independently.

Working Hours

  • Shifts between 7:00am – 8:30pm
  • Full-time contracts (up to 40 hours per week)

Pay & Benefits

  • £13 – £15 per hour
  • Paid mileage: 35p per mile
  • Paid training and DBS check
  • Career progression (Level 2 & 3 Diplomas, specialist training)

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (required)
  • Experience in domiciliary/home care is preferred (minimum 1 year), but not essential as full in-person training will be provided
  • Ability to read and follow care plans
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Basic IT skills for documentation and reporting
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts in order to meet the needs of service users
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
