Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Carers to provide community-based support to individuals in need. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their wellbeing within their own homes or community settings. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of care. Responsibilities
- Providing personalised care and support to clients in their homes or community environments
- Assisting with daily living tasks such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs in collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Supporting clients in maintaining their independence and participating in community activities
- Driving clients safely to appointments, social activities, or errands as required
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
- Communicating effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure consistent and high-quality care
Requirements
- Valid driving licence and the ability to drive safely within the community
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow prescribed routines
- Proficiency in English, with strong communication skills to engage effectively with clients and team members
- Basic IT skills for documentation and record keeping purposes
- Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate reliability in delivering quality care
