Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Band 4 Nurse Associate to join our Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) Unit on 2 North A at the Royal Free Hospital.This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist nurse-led oncology service that delivers high-quality, safe and personalised care to patients receiving complex SACT treatments.
The post holder will support the delivery of high-standard patient care, working alongside experienced SACT nurses, pharmacists, consultants, clinical trial teams and wider MDT colleagues.
Main duties of the job
Provide compassionate, safe and effective care to patients receiving SACT. Support registered SACT nurses in patient preparation, monitoring and post-treatment care. Contribute to maintaining safety standards, including escalation of concerns and early recognition of deterioration. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Participate in quality improvement, patient experience initiatives and service development. Uphold Trust values and contribute to a positive team culture
