Job summary

Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to recruit a part-time Consultant General Paediatrician.

This is an opportunity to join an organisation in which Clinicians are at the forefront of management. There will also be the opportunity to help us shape the future of services for children in the hospital and community.

Main duties of the job

This is a part-time position at 8 PAs. The successful applicant would be expected to work one week in every ten (split between weekdays and weekends) to provide cover for the ward as part of the Consultant of the week model.

We are a very supportive department and will ensure the successful candidate has a Consultant mentor and the relevant peer support they require.

Experience

Essential

  • oEntry on GMC Specialist Register; eligible for entry on Register or within six months of receipt of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) at time of interview
  • oMB ChB or equivalent
  • oUnderstanding of all aspects of Paediatrics and neonates(level 1unit )

Desirable

  • oCompleted fellowship programme
  • oSub speciality experience in paediatric allergy or /and respiratory
