Experienced DXA Radiographer
Are you a experienced DXA Radiographer and looking to join the Bank at SWFT.
We are the only Outstanding Foundation Trust in the region and undergoing a major equipment upgrade across all Trust sites.
The Trust is situated in the heart of Warwickshire with great transport links (both road & rail) to London and the North.
Main duties of the job
To be one of a team of senior radiographers rotating through the department including A&E, Theatres, CT, fluoroscopy and rotating to satellite units in the community as required.
Opportunity will be available for staff to specialise dependent on service needs into area such as Cath lab, Mammography, MRI.

Qualifications
Essential
- DCR or BSc in Radiology
- Evidence of CPD since qualification
- State Registered
- Experience in CT and/or another specialist area

- Post Graduate Diploma/degree

- Minimum 2 years post registration
- Current Band 6 or more than 2years experience
Desirable
- Experience of managing daily workload
Skills

- High quality clinical skills in plain film
- Broad clinical experience
- Ability to work in busy A&E environment managing daily workload
- Able to undertake QA tests for all equipment
- Good communication skills
- Articulate, able to communicate with Consultant Radiologists and all other staff within department
- Ability to liaise with consultants/ward staff within Trust
- Able to liaise closely with Senior AED/ITU staff/theatre for medical emergencies/GA
- Ability to work in busy A&E environment managing daily workload
- Knowledge of IRMER and ionising radiation regulations
- Proven organisational skills in post e.g. covering sick leave, holiday etc
- Desire to extend role
