We eagerly encourage you to arrange a site visit, to see our department, meet the team and learn a little more about our plans for future for the service.
Interviews for this role will take place on 11th August 2026
Main duties of the job
You will be joining our existing team of 3 Consultants as we develop both inpatient outpatient diabetes and endocrinology services.
You will share inpatient ward responsibility which we are aiming to be a duty-week rota. There are significant opportunities to lead and develop key areas of the service, including diabetes technology, antenatal care, and the multidisciplinary diabetic foot service.
The post includes a commitment to the General Medicine on-call rota, currently a 1-in-16 pattern that averages to around one weekend every two months and a monthly weekday evening cover.
