Job summary

  • £12,200.50 per session, per annum
  • 6 to 8 clinical sessions available, with opportunities for job sharing.

  • Work alongside our great team, including an ACP Paramedic, Clinical Pharmacist, ANPs, First Contact Practitioner (FCP), and Nursing & HCA teams.
  • Recently migrated to the SystmOne clinical system to enhance efficiency and collaboration with community services.
  • Implemented total triage model with a focus on high-quality care, continuity, and inclusivity.
  • Were committed to using digital tools to improve care delivery and efficiency.
  • Regular quality and safety meetings with other SPC practices to share best practices and learning, fostering continuous improvement.
  • Group safeguarding lead to provide expert guidance on safeguarding concerns.

  • MRCGP Qualification and GMC Registration

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

  • A medical practitioner whose name is included in the General Practitioner Register under article 10 of the General and Specialist Medical Practice Order 2003
  • Accredited as a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) or have 5 years experience as a full time GP with a demonstrable commitment to quality practice.
  • Currently on a performers list and not suspended from that list or from the medical register
  • Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check
  • Evidence of continued professional development

Experience

Essential

  • Commitment to and experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary and skill mixed team environment
  • Experience of working to achieve standards within the Quality and Outcome Framework (QOF)
  • Clinical Governance
  • Primary care prevention and screening services
  • Self-audit and reflection
  • Organised and efficient in record keeping and completion of paperwork
  • Time management being able to prioritise work and work under pressure
  • Computer literacy
