Workforce Solutions are looking for a Registrar or General Practitioner with Specialist Interest in Rehabilitation / General Medicine to join the team at Halstead Community Hospital on a flexible, bank basis.

Main duties of the job

GP required for Halstead ward to provide medical care and expertise to patients on a 20 bedded rehabilitation ward. Main duties include:

  • Review patients daily ensuring rehabilitation and treatment plans/ goals are optimised
  • Clerk new admissions
  • Prescribe all medications required, reviewing any deteriorating patients

Person Specification

Experience

Essential

  • Evidence of thorough and broad training and experience in the specialty.
  • Experience of working independently as a senior clinician

Desirable

  • Previous experience as a Registrar specializing in Rehabilitation or General Medicine.escription Criteria
  • Experience of community rehabilitation or working on community inpatient wards.

Qualifications

Essential

  • MBBS or Equivalent Entry
  • MRCP (UK) or equivalent.
  • Certificate of Completion of training (CCT) or GP Register
