The Community Children’sNurseServiceprovidespecialist services for; Continuing Care,Community Children’sNursefor short intervention & chronic conditions(SICC),Diabetes, Epilepsy, Special Educational Needs team(SENT)and virtual ward.

Person Specification

Experience

Essential

  • Extensive experience of working with children
  • Experience of service development
  • Experience of quality & safety

Qualifications

Essential

  • Registered Childrens nurse
  • Registered with NMC

Desirable

  • MSc

Leadership/Management

Essential

  • Evidence of performance management; PDRs, supervision,
  • Experience of recruitment
  • Experience of sickness absence management
  • Excellent written skills
