Job summary
We are seeking Cognitive Behaviour Therapists (CBT) who are keen to work for our Talking Therapies Gloucestershire and are either newly qualified or further into their careers who want to join a progressive and passionate service to the population we serve. We are continually looking for innovative ideas to address patient care and staff wellbeing including the recent addition of a Referral Liaison Team who manage our referrals and other queries from the service and Trust staff which has reduced pressure on staff during their working week.We have positions countywide.As a valued member of our team, you will:- Deliver Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in line with NICE guidance- Provide therapy both in-person and remotely from one of our four bases- Work collaboratively within a supportive clinical team- Contribute to meeting local and national service targetsWe offer flexible working patterns where possible, though an initial period of on-site work is expected. Long-term arrangements will be guided by service needs and client demand.
Main duties of the job
We are a progressive service who actively encourage staff to seek out CPD opportunities including further training including eg EMDR, Supervision and CfD. Access to BESPOKE training, undertaking weekly supervision, plus regular clinical skills, team meetings, and away days where teams can come together.

The successful candidates will be BABCP accredited (*or meet BABCP accreditation standards and are actively working towards this).

Qualifications
Essential
- Qualification from High Intensity IAPT Course (Post Graduate Diploma)
- Further post graduate qualification OR training and experience in CBT that meets full BABCP accreditation standards and will apply for accreditation on commencement of the post
- Significant experience working as a psychological therapy practitioner in a stepped care service for anxiety and depression and demonstrating the competences as required.
- Full range of skills and competencies as laid out in the competence framework for CBT (Roth and Pilling 2007)
- Meets BABCP accreditation standards and applies for accreditation on commencement of post
- Is a member of a professional body, such as BABCP, BPS, NMC upon commencement of the post.
