Job summary
Shape the future of performance reporting and assurance at NSFT
We are seeking an exceptional and innovative Performance Improvement Manager to lead a major programme of work to transform the Trust’s assurance reporting, performance intelligence and decision-making capability.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced performance or business intelligence professional with advanced expertise in Power BI, data modelling and performance management frameworks to play a key role in redesigning how the organisation measures, monitors and improves performance.
Main duties of the job
Working within the Performance Team, you will lead the development and refinement of a business intelligence solution that transforms the Trust’s approach to assurance reporting, performance management and data quality monitoring. The solution will enable the day-to-day identification and management of performance, quality and data quality issues through intuitive and user-centred dashboards. It will support the seamless production of comprehensive locality-level Quality and Performance reports, with narrative and assurance information captured continuously throughout the reporting cycle. This information will then flow through organisational governance structures, evolving into a fully formed Integrated Quality and Performance Report (IQPR) that combines robust data, meaningful analysis and evidence-based narrative, providing a clear and consistent view of organisational performance from frontline services through to the Trust Board.
This work includes the creation of complex datasets, advanced Power BI dashboards, integration of narrative collected via user interfaces, SPC rebasing methodologies and enhanced data quality processes. You will work closely with senior leaders, operational teams and technical specialists to translate complex requirements into practical, user-centred reporting solutions that support effective governance and informed decision-making.
