Main duties of the job
Working under the supervision of qualified nursing staff, you will help deliver a high standard of care to patients, ensuring their comfort, dignity and wellbeing are maintained at all times. Your responsibilities will include: * Supporting patients with their individual care needs and day-to-day wellbeing * Assisting the nursing team in delivering high-quality patient care * Monitoring and reporting any changes in a patient’s condition to the relevant clinical staff * Communicating effectively with patients, relatives and colleagues * Maintaining accurate patient records in line with hospital policies and data protection requirements * Helping to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming clinical environment * Supporting infection prevention and control practices across the department

Essential
- * Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant within a healthcare setting
- * NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent experience)
- * Good understanding of basic nursing care
- * Basic awareness of health, safety and infection control practices
- * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- * A professional and patient-focused approach
- * Strong team working skills and a willingness to learn
- * English language proficiency to IELTS 7.0 standard
