Registered Nurse, General Medical Ward

Larch C is a 28 bedded general medical ward. Patient safety is embedded in everything we do. Our aim is to provide an excellent patient experience from admission to discharge ensuring all physical and mental health needs are met.

Main duties of the job

Larch C is a general medical ward which cares for patients with a wide range of needs, from acutely unwell patients to managing long term conditions, complex discharge planning to end of life care.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Registered Nurse, with active registration

Desirable

  • Teaching certificate or equivalent.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Post registration nursing care and the ability to deal with a continually changing work load
  • Continuing professional development
  • NMC code of conduct
  • Teaching and mentoring
  • Clinical governance
