Job summary

As the PMO Systems Manager you will be responsible for developing, configuring and administering our project management system, and other related systems, based on Microsoft’s Power Platform.

As part of the Trust PMO you will play a vital role in enabling the successful delivery of projects and programmes to improve clinical outcomes, patient experience and staff satisfaction.

Your well designed and implemented Power Platform based tools will reflect NUH’s Project Management Policy & Framework and ‘influence behaviour’, ‘inform decisions’ and help make ‘Every Project Worthwhile!’

Main duties of the job

Systems Management – responsible for managing the development pipeline, system roadmap and operation of all PMO Systems

Power Platform Administration – responsible for the following aspects of developing and administering a Power Platform based system:

Governance & Assurance

Security & Access

Data Structures & Integrity

System environments/platforms Oversight

Development Lifecycle & Change Control & Compliance

Support & Training

Risk & Issue Management & Problem Solving

Analysis & Reporting– responsible for using analysis and reporting functionality, in particular Power BI, from Power Platform based systems

Training – Responsible for developing and delivering user training material in support of the effective use of the PMO Systems

Line Management – Responsible for managing those assigned to the PMO System Admin Team.

Personal Development – Responsible for pro-actively keeping up to date with technical knowledge and skills required to do this job.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • oRelevant bachelor’s degree, equivalent professional qualification or equivalent knowledge, training & experience
  • oTraining or qualifications or equivalent in use of Microsoft PowerApps and Power BI (e.g. PL-200)
  • oExperience using and developing Microsoft PowerApps and Power BI reports, customising MS Power Apps and complex MS Power Automate Flows, and managing Power App environments
  • oTraining or qualification in Project or Programme management (e.g. PMQ PRINCE2, MSP) or equivalent

Desirable

  • oTraining or qualifications in Portfolio Office Management (e.g. MoP, P30) or equivalent
  • oTraining or qualifications or equivalent in advanced use of Microsoft PowerApps and Power BI (e.g. PL-400 & PL-600)
  • oExperience using, configuring, developing and administering project management systems.
