Main duties of the job

As Team Lead, you’ll lead a team of administrative professionals responsible for supporting the smooth and effective delivery of healthcare services. You’ll help coordinate activity across multiple services, ensuring teams are organised, supported and equipped to deliver the highest standards of patient care.

Working closely operational managers and clinical teams, you’ll oversee service performance, manage resources, support workforce planning and drive improvements that help services run smoothly, efficiently and effectively.

The role combines people leadership, operational oversight, service improvement and day-to-day problem solving.

Person Specification

Shortlisting

Essential

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent training and/or experience in business administration, management or other relevant subject area
  • Extensive experience in an office environment with managerial responsibilities
  • Experienced in monitoring projects and programmes of work
  • Highly experienced in using a variety of IT systems proficiently

  • Proficient in NHS electronic patient record systems
  • Understanding of confidentiality, GDPR, and NHS data protection policies
