The Role
An opportunity has arisen for to join our rapidly expanding team. We are looking for well-rounded Controls Engineer who will be responsible for process of creating the control program and support the project process, tooling and facility from concept through to commissioning and start of production. They create detailed drawings and prepare all supporting documentation. They also need to be able to communicate with customers to give feedback on design intent and deliverables as per customer specifications.
Main responsibilities:
●Creating and testing PLC/SCADA/HMI applications.
●Setting up and commissioning control panels, I/O drives, etc.
●Assisting with estimates for customer quotations.
●Collaborating with customers to develop a Functional Design Specification (FDS) that accurately defines system requirements.
●Supporting Project Managers in planning and monitoring project progress.
●Ensuring the delivery of projects to the highest standard.
●Performing on-site commissioning activities.
Desirable experience & qualifications:
●A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing control systems utilising Rockwell and Siemens products.
●Proven ability to deliver results and maintain resilience in challenging situations.
●Availability to work weekends when necessary (with paid overtime) to meet customer needs.
●We offer visa sponsorship if required.
● Electrical design knowledge, preferably with Eplan experience.
● Hands-on experience with DCP software standards.
● Strong Microsoft Office skills
