Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled South Indian and Continental Chef to join our team at The Elms Hotel Retford. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a flair for creating delicious dishes while leading a kitchen team.

Responsibilities
– Oversee food production and ensure high-quality culinary offerings
– Implement food safety standards and maintain kitchen cleanliness
– Manage and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
– Create menus, develop recipes, and adapt to customer preferences
– Coordinate kitchen operations efficiently to meet service demands

– Full knowledge of south Indian food

-Full knowledge of continental food

Experience
– Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment
– Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and industry best practices
– Previous experience in team management and leadership roles
– Qualifications in culinary arts or hospitality would be advantageous

– Hotel Management with minimum of 4 years of experience in 3 or 4 star hotel as chef-De- Partie or Sous Chef position

– Experience in Menu planning

– overseas experience is an advantage

– Work Permit can be provided for those who are applying from overseas
