We are looking for an enthusiastic psychology graduate to join our well established and respected neuropsychology department working in an acute regional neuroscience setting.
As a department we work across acute inpatient and outpatient services, provide input to a range of specialist MDT and and offer specialist treatment programmes.
Main duties of the job
The main focus of the assistant psychologist role centers around the assessment of a broad range of individuals with neurological conditions to help inform diagnosis, treatment and care requirements.

Essential
- Undergraduate degree (ideally psychology) or conversion for eligibility for BPS membership.
Desirable
- Experience of administering Neuropsychological tests
Knowledge & Experience
Essential
- Knowledge of neuropsychological tests and theory.
- Experience of working as an assistant psychologist or research assistant.
Skills & Attributes
Essential
- Good communication skills, IT skills, research skills and ability to work autonomously.
- Be highly motivated and organised. Enthusiastic and ability to learn and work as part of a team
- Experience of working with a patient group and documenting in patients notes.
