We are looking for a dynamic audiologist to join us at the Manchester Royal Infirmary. Our department is unique in providing all hearing, balance and implant services for adults and childrenunder one management structure and within one hospital Trust. You will have a varied audiology position within our state-of-the-art purpose built centre with opportunities to develop future specialisms. In addition, the department has close educational and research links to Manchester University. Successful candidates should have a BSc in Audiology/ Healthcare science or equivalent.

Qualifications
Essential
- BSc or diploma in Audiology or Neurosensory Sciences (Audiology) with clinical competency or equivalent
- Registration with RCCP or HCPC as an Audiologist
Desirable
- Evidence of maintaining continual professional development
- Qualification in Ear Wax removal / Microsuction
Knowledge and Experience
Essential
- Proven experience of working in an Audiology setting or equivalent
- Experience of dealing with the general public
- Knowledge and understanding of professional policies and procedures
Desirable
- Past experience in an NHS background
- Experience with training and development of junior members of staff
- Experience of working in a UKAS accredited service
- Experience of providing hearing services to AQP standards
- British Sign language stage 1
Skills
Essential
- Ability to perform a wide range of audiological tests independently.
- Experience of fitting and verifying the fit of a range of digital hearing aids
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a work environment
- Good oral/written communication skills.
Desirable
- Ability to assist with stock control on computerised system.
- Car driver /owner for domiciliary visits
- Experience in Paeds, BAHA or CI
Other
Essential
- Good IT skills – experience using Microsoft office and / or patient management systems
- Able to work flexibly over a 6 day period
- Ability to work across multiple sites and clinical locations
Desirable
- Familiar with using Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets
