Job summary

he purpose of this role is to support the Associate People and CulturePartner and wider People and Culture team to provide basic Peopleand Culture support with regard to resourcing, organisational change,employee relations (ER) and terms and conditions of employment. Therole will support the modernisation and performance of the workforce.The post-holder must exercise a high degree of initiative, be able towork under pressure and can prioritise their own workload. The role willsupport the People and Culture team in aiding the division(s) inachieving key performance indicators (KPI’s). The role is responsiblefor ensuring professional customer focused People and Culture adviceand support is provided.

Main duties of the job

To assist the People and Culture team with the production of monthlydivisional reports including data presentation, when required.

To provide admin support to the People and Culture team withPeople and Culture projects and initiatives as required.

To process all incoming queries pertaining to the Terms & Conditionsand pay for staff on AfC bands and staff on Medical Terms andconditions of employment, including liaison with other workforcedepartments and Finance – as appropriate.

To oversee the distribution of the trust’s compliance reports withinthe division (e.g. professional registration, appraisals, fixed-termcontracts etc) and work with respective managers to ensure all areasare compliant.

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent level of experience.

  • Experience of operating effectively in a customer facing environment
  • Administrative experience at a senior level to include diary management, booking and arranging meetings / events, and minute taking.

Desirable

  • Experience of advising managers on complex and serious individual and/or collective conflict situations including disciplinary, capability and grievance issues
  • Experience of working in a multi -unionised environment
  • Experience of supporting effective organisational change initiatives, including Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment).
