It is an opportunity to work within a supportive and highly experienced MDT in a service that is expanding and developing to address previous unmet need within the area. The post involves taking a lead role in the advanced assessment and treatment of patients with suspected or confirmed ILO to determine diagnosis and identify appropriate SLT treatment as clinically indicated. Alongside the MDT you will ensure patients receive a comprehensive and holistic assessment and treatment plan.

Main duties of the job

You will have access to nasendoscopy with training opportunities to further enhance and develop your specialist skills. This in addition to being welcomed into a large and supportive therapy team with excellent training and development opportunities, robust supervision and appraisal system.

Main Duties and Tasks:

You should be able to work as a highly specialist, autonomous practitioner with a clear passion in assessing and managing complex breathlessness within an outpatient respiratory setting. Alongside this you will provide specialist level training to the wider MDT when required and may also be asked to attend the regional complex breathlessness network meetings. You should be passionate about providing effective patient centred care, as well as being highly enthusiastic about service development of respiratory services
