An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experiencedClinical Nurse Specialist (CNS)to join the Breast Services team atSherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
We are seeking an exceptional CNS with substantial experience working within breast services to join our established multidisciplinary team. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across symptomatic and breast cancer pathways while contributing to the continued development of our service.
Working alongside Consultant Breast Surgeons, Radiologists, Breast Care Nurses, Oncologists and Allied Health Professionals, you will provide expert autonomous clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and follow-up for patients presenting with breast disease.
The successful candidate will be an experienced clinician who is confident in autonomous decision-making, passionate about delivering outstanding patient care and committed to continuous service improvement.

- NMC Level One Registered Nurse
- BSc in Nursing
- ENB 998 or equivalent teaching course
- Evidence of post-basic specialist education
- Educated to Masters level (or working towards) or equivalent demonstrable experience and learning within breast services
- Non-medical prescribing (or willingness to undertake)

- Motivational interviewing / counselling course / training
Experience

- Significant experience post registration at band 7 with experience in working with patients in breast services
- Membership of special interest and professional group
- Working within a leadership role
