GDMS is seeking a proactive and skilled Business Support Manager to join our team in Milton Keynes. This pivotal role is designed to enhance operational efficiency, support key business functions, and ensure smooth collaboration across departments.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and streamline daily business operations to maintain high levels of productivity.
- Develop and implement effective administrative and operational workflows.
- Act as the central liaison among departments to facilitate communication and coordination.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and milestones to achieve strategic objectives.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for senior management.
- Manage vendor relationships, including contracts, procurement, and performance evaluations.
- Support HR activities, such as onboarding, employee engagement, and policy administration.
- Identify and resolve operational issues by introducing process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
- Plan and execute company events, meetings, and other organisational activities.
- Provide executive-level administrative support when required. Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration, management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in business support or operational management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to implement practical solutions.
- Professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
