We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the care provided to our clients, ensuring that their needs are met with the highest standards of service. This position requires strong leadership skills, as the Care Manager will be responsible for mentoring and supervising staff while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.

Your Role as a Care Manager

As Care Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of care, client satisfaction, staff engagement, regulatory compliance, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee a fully integrated, seven-day-a-week home care service, ensuring smooth and efficient care delivery.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
Lead the recruitment, training, and retention of senior care staff and management.
Drive business growth and profitability, ensuring the long-term success of the service.
Ensure full compliance with CQC standards, upholding the highest quality of care.

What We’re Looking For:

NVQ Level 5/Level 4 in Health and Social Care Management (or equivalent).
Strong experience managing care services, ideally within domiciliary care and/or a care agency.
Excellent leadership and communication skills – you inspire and support your team.
Outstanding organisational and problem-solving abilities – you thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Comprehensive understanding of care planning and complex conditionsto ensure clients receive the best possible support.
Good knowledge of CQC regulations, financial management, and IT systems.
A full UK driving licence – as travel may be required.

Duties

  • Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Mentor and supervise care staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development.
  • Conduct regular assessments of clients’ conditions and adjust care plans as necessary.
  • Facilitate communication between clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and care activities in accordance with organisational policies.
  • Lead team meetings to discuss client updates, share best practices, and address any challenges faced by staff.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a healthcare or social care setting is essential.
  • Strong background in mentoring staff, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on building relationships with clients and their families.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess client needs effectively and develop appropriate care strategies.
  • A thorough understanding of relevant legislation and best practices in care management is highly desirable.
  • Must have experience in working with both Children and Adults Clients
