Care Worker: Sponsorship Available

Responsibilities:
– Provide personal care and support to individuals in their homes or residential care facilities
– Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
– Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
– Assist with meal preparation and feeding
– Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
– Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
– Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals
– Follow care plans and instructions provided by supervisors

– Participate in mandatory staff meetings

-To ensure confidentiality is always maintained, in keeping with the Data Protection Act (DPA) 1998 – ensuring that clients personal details are not disclosed to any unauthorised person and all records are maintained within the DPA 1998 requirements

Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Previous experience in care giving or a related field is preferred but not required
– Compassionate and patient demeanor
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to follow instructions and work independently
– Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes or care facilities
– Ability to pass a background check
