Duties:
– Provide personal care and support to individuals in their homes or residential care facilities
– Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
– Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
– Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
– Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
– Accompany clients to appointments and outings
– Monitor and report any changes in clients’ physical or mental health
– Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Experience:
– Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but further training will be offered
– Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and principles
– Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families
– Compassionate and patient demeanour
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Education:
- Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)
Experience:
- Home care: 1 year (required)
