We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home care environments. Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised patient and client care, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
• Administer medication in accordance with prescribed instructions and maintain accurate records
• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as required
• Assist with light housekeeping duties to ensure a safe and comfortable environment
• Provide behavioural management and emotional support, especially for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer’s
• Support clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
• Drive clients to appointments or outings safely using company vehicles or personal driving skills
• Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere strictly to health and safety regulations

Skills

• Proven experience in assisted living, nursing home environments, or home care settings
• Knowledge of patient care techniques, dementia, Alzheimer’s, hospice, and senior care practices
• Ability to perform first aid procedures confidently
• Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach towards clients of all ages, including childcare if applicable
• Excellent behaviour management skills for individuals with behavioural challenges related to dementia or other conditions
• Competence in medication administration following proper protocols
• Ability to undertake heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility needs
• Valid driving licence and clean driving record for client transportation responsibilities
• Organised with good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
