We are now seeking an exceptional leader to join our Board as Chief Nursing and Allied Health Officer.

This is a rare opportunity to lead both Nursing and Allied Health Professionals at executive level within a large, complex Community Interest Company (CIC). As a key member of the Executive Team, you will provide professional leadership across our nursing and AHP workforce while holding executive accountability for quality, safety, safeguarding, patient experience and clinical governance across our adults and children’s services.

You will help shape the future of community healthcare at a pivotal time. Working across organisational and system boundaries, you will champion innovation, partnership working and continuous improvement, ensuring that patients and communities remain at the heart of everything we do. You will be a visible and credible leader, inspiring colleagues to deliver high-quality, compassionate care while supporting the development of inclusive, high-performing teams.

We are looking for a senior leader with the professional credibility, strategic insight and personal authenticity to thrive in this role. You will bring a strong track record in quality improvement, patient safety and workforce leadership, alongside the ability to influence across complex systems and build trusted partnerships.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

  • Educated to masters level or equivelent professional qualification
  • Registered Nurse with cureent NMC registration

Experience

Essential

  • Experience operating at corporate board level, with direct experience as a member or senior advisor to the Board and as a strategic director and including significant within health or similar public sector organisations
  • A track record of success as a senior/ executive leader in a complex organisation and political and regulatory environment. It is essential that the applicants can demonstrate the presence, credibility, experience, and capability to operate at this level.
  • Experience of providing technical expertise for their discipline / area of accountability to shape and implement strategic plans during periods of significant change.
