The maternity team at CDDFT are searching for a committed,
dynamic and enthusiastic midwife to join our South East Durham community
midwifery team based in Ferryhill health clinic.

Main duties of the job
We
are looking for a passionate, committed band 6 midwife to provide maternity
care within our community midwifery team based Ferryhill Health Clinic. You
will be responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of
individualised care plans which ensure delivery of holistic, research based
care, prioritising communication, informed consent and relationship building.
CDDFT community midwives are passionate about facilitating antenatal and
postnatal continuity of care and you will be supported as an autonomous
practitioner to plan your diary around your caseload, ensuring that women and
families are at the centre of everything we do.

Qualifications
Essential
- Registered midwife with current UK Registration and NMC PIN
Desirable
- Evidence of Ongoing Professioanl Development.
- Trained NIPE Practitioner.
- PMA Qualification.
- Recognised Teaching/Assessing qualification
Statutory Registration
Essential
- UK Registration and NMC PIN
Special Requirements
Essential
- Valid full UK driving licence.
- Travel across Trust as required
