Duties

• Perform repairs on mechanical and electronic components, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
• Maintain and service equipment regularly to prevent breakdowns and ensure longevity.
• Utilise hand tools and specialised equipment for repairs, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot complex issues and share knowledge on best practices.
• Document all repairs and maintenance performed, maintaining accurate records for future reference.
• Stay updated with the latest technology trends in computer networking and repair techniques.

Skills

• Proficient in reading schematics and technical drawings related to equipment repair.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and their functionalities.
• Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair.
• Familiarity with computer networking principles and troubleshooting methods.
• Experience in computer repair, including both hardware and software issues.
• Ability to effectively use hand tools for various repair tasks.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
