Consultant Radiologist

Salary: £113,565 – £150,569 per annum/pro rata

Main duties of the job
Applications are invited for Consultant Radiologist. The appointees, will be required to contribute to the general workload of the department. The posts are whole time 10 PA and the appointees will be expected to participate in the general radiology on-call rota, following the 3month probation period and internal assessment. After 9pm week days and after 5pm weekends, the on-call is outsourced to an external agency. Family-friendly and part-time working can be considered.

Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential
- Full GMC Registration with a licence to practise and FRCR
- CCST/CCT/CESR or equivalent in radiology (or will obtain within 6 months of interview date)
- IELTS (Academic) level 7.5, or graduate of a Medical School in UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, USA or Canada.
Knowledge
Essential
- Cross sectional CT/MRI/Ultrasound/Plain Film
- Clinical Governance principles
Skills
Essential
- The post holder will have to be competent in CT, Plain Film and Ultrasound. MRI would be beneficial.
