Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Homecare company specialising in senior and dementia care. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and leading a dedicated team of care professionals. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader with a background in assisted living, nursing home management, or home care to make a meaningful difference in residents’ lives.

Duties

  • Lead and manage the overall operation of the Home care , ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained at all times.
  • Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans for residents, including specialised dementia and Alzheimer’s care programmes.
  • Supervise and support a team of care staff, including supervising experience and leadership responsibilities.
  • Oversee medication administration processes in accordance with legal and organisational guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including CQC standards and health & safety regulations.
  • Foster a positive environment that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being for residents.
  • Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate effective care delivery.
  • Manage budgets, staffing rotas, and resource allocation efficiently to optimise service quality.
  • Lead staff training initiatives to ensure continuous professional development within the team.
  • Monitor service quality through audits, resident feedback, and quality assurance processes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in senior care management within assisted living and homecare settings
  • Strong background in nursing or dementia care, with specific expertise in Alzheimer’s care.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills with supervising experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Knowledge of care planning, medication administration, and regulatory compliance (e.g., CQC standards).
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Compassionate approach to eldercare with a commitment to enhancing residents’ quality of life.
