An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the well-established dynamic dietetic team at Hywel Dda which holds a high profile both within the wider therapies team and across the Health Board. We fully support continuing professional development, appraisal and supervision and actively enable this with protected sessions in individualised job plans.
You will have the opportunity to be a valuable part of a dietetic department in Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire, or Pembrokeshire as well as the opportunity to work cross-site, in line with agreed personal development goals and other experience opportunities which may arise.
Main duties of the job
This is a key role for a Dietitian looking to gain a wide range of clinical dietetic skills both inpatient and community dietetic experience, shaping your own journey with options to gain additional skills in more specialist areas such as: Health improvement, preoperative care, paediatrics, mental health, eating disorders, diabetes and much more.
This role offers a unique opportunity for someone with a passion to improve health outcomes across Hywel Dda and a commitment to develop and learn.

Qualifications and Knowledge
Essential
- Recognised degree in dietetics with state registration
- H.C.P.C. Registration
- Demonstrates consolidated clinical dietetic knowledge and skills in the field of adult dietetics
- Demonstrates good knowledge of, and ability to apply, evidence base in relation to dietetic practice and development of practice
- Knowledge of current and emerging evidence base, national and professional policy, guidance and best practice
- Demonstrates effective organisational skills including prioritization of workload, effective caseload management
- Well established teaching and presentation skills

- Recognised IT qualification

- Clinical practice placements in a variety of general and specialist areas of inpatients and outpatients setting
