Domiciliary Care Assistant: Sponsorship Available

We are continuously expanding our team and looking for genuinely caring and hands-on individuals who have some experience in care.

You will be required to support vulnerable adults in their own home. The role will involve providing support as and when required according to the support plans. Support tasks will include providing support with activities of daily living and personal care tasks.

You will work as part of a supportive team, focusing on outcomes through a person-centred approach to care.

You will ideally have experience working in the healthcare sector

You will ideally have experience working with vulnerable Adults

You will be passionate about providing excellent support

You will be kind, compassionate, take responsibility for your own actions and be keen to acquire new knowledge

All successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check for Regulated Activity which will include a check against the Barred adult list.

Duties:

  • Supporting and assisting with all personal care requirements
  • Charting or taking notes for others to review
  • Providing companionship and supportive listening
  • Observing and reporting any changes in the health or status of the patient
  • Preparing meals and feeding patients
  • Prompting and administering medication
  • Accompanying and transporting patients to appointments and/or social events
  • Facilitating community and recreational outings, including transport
  • Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
