Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children aged 0-5 years. The Early Years Educator will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities that support children’s learning and growth while ensuring their safety and well-being. Spanish speaking is a very desirable skill.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver age-appropriate educational programmes that foster children’s physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
  • Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere for all children and their families.
  • Observe and assess children’s progress, documenting their achievements and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children’s learning.
  • Manage daily routines, including meal times, play times, and nap times, ensuring a structured yet flexible environment.
  • Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of care provided.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised learning space that meets health and safety regulations.
  • Drive initiatives that promote positive behaviour management strategies among children.

Requirements

  • A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential.
  • Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
  • A genuine passion for early years education and the ability to inspire children through creative play-based learning activities.
  • Ability to drive initiatives that enhance children’s learning experiences while ensuring their safety at all times.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development in early childhood education practices.
