Hammersmith Hospital Endoscopy Unit is a Specialist Centre for Hepatobiliary in North West London. We provide tertiary care in ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreatography (ERCP), and EUS (endoscopic ultrasound) as well as luminal endoscopic procedures.
Our three-endoscopy departments have gained JAG accreditation. All our departments offer a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including:
- upper and lower GI endoscopy
- gastroscopy
- colonoscopy
- flexi sigmoidoscopy
- bronchoscopy

Main duties of the job
- The Role of the Nursing Associate is to assist and support the Registered Nurse/ Midwife in ensuring optimal care for the patients across the trust.
- The post holder will be responsible for delivering high quality, patient centred compassionate care under the direction of a Registered Nurse/ Midwife with a focus on promoting health and independence. They will be an accountable professional and have the ability to work without direct supervision; within the parameters of practice by undertaking a range of duties appropriate to the level of responsibility and knowledge and skills acquired.
