Job summary

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified Fleet Vehicle Technician based at Northampton workshop. The role involves maintaining a range of vehicles operated by the Trust including ambulances, fast response cars and support vehicles.

It is an exciting opportunity to be part of the development of the workshop facility and repair and maintain the emergency vehicle’s within our community.

Main duties of the job

The job will entail the servicing and mechanical repairs of our double crewed ambulances and fast response vehicles. It is an exciting opportunity to broaden your mechanical experience to work on the specialist equipment on emergency service vehicles.

An appropriate qualification in Motor Vehicle Engineering is essential. Level 2 applicants maybe considered.

A C1 driving licence is essential for this post so a candidate must have C1 category on their licence or commit to obtaining within the 1st year of employment.

The hours of work are 08:00 – 16:00 Mon-Friday/Weekend and Bank Holiday available as overtime

  • Full Current Driving Licence
