Overview:

Avantao Technologies is seeking an experienced Game QA Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of specific game areas, managing risk assessments and mitigation, guaranteeing effective test coverage, and maintaining bug tracking and quality for assigned areas. The Game QA Tester will report to the QA Producer and work closely with the development team to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards and provide the best user experience to our players.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of specific areas of the game through comprehensive testing and bug identification.
• Risk Management: Manage risk assessments and mitigation strategies for assigned areas of the game.
• Test Coverage: Guarantee effective test coverage for assigned areas, ensuring thorough testing of all functionalities.
• Bug Tracking: Maintain detailed bug tracking and quality control for assigned areas, ensuring all issues are logged and addressed.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the QA Producer and development team to ensure high-quality products.
• Bug Reporting: Write detailed bug reports, including capturing appropriate footage and providing high-quality reproduction steps.
• Test Case Creation: Collaborate with the QA Producer to create new test cases for projects, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
• User Experience: Ensure the best user experience by identifying and addressing bugs within the products.

Requirements:

Experience:

Proven experience as a Game QA Tester, with a strong passion for quality assurance and attention to detail.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in writing detailed bug reports and creating reproduction steps.
• Ability to capture and provide high-quality footage to support bug reports.
• Familiarity with bug-tracking software and quality control processes.
• Experience in creating and managing test cases.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on providing the best user experience.
• Passion for Gaming: A strong interest in gaming and a desire to contribute to the development of high-quality games.

Education:

A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Game Design, or a related field is preferred.
