We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Audiologist / Clinical Scientist to join our large comprehensive Audiology Team at Bradford Hospitals .
The postholder will be responsible for the clinical leadership and operational management of the Diagnostic Audiology Service, in particular the evoked potential and vestibular assessment and rehabilitation services.
You willwork alongside the Head of Adult Audiology and Paediatric Audiology and will deputise in the absence of the Head of Audiology Services.
Main duties of the job
The postholder, as well as beingresponsible for the clinical leadership and operational management of the Diagnostic Audiology Service including staff, will be required to deliver clinical activity in relation to highly specialised complex and non-routine scientific work in particular evoked potential testing and the vestibular assessment, management and rehabilitation of patients

Qualifications
Essential
- BSc in Audiology or equivalent and MSc equivalence eg significant clinical experience and M level study or MSc in Audiology with a certificate of clinical competence, such as Certificate of Audiological Competence, Higher Training Scheme, Scientific Training Programme or equivalent.
- AHCS/HPCP Registration with evidence of CPD in accordance with registration body.

Experience
Essential
- Significant experience in all aspects of audiological assessment and management.
- Experience in vestibular assessment and rehabilitation
- Experience of evoked potential testing
- Experience of working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Evidence of management/supervisory experience
Desirable
- Evidence of leading and developing an area of Audiological practice
- Involvement /leadership of audit and research
- Involvement professionally at a regional or national level

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to adapt communication to accommodate barriers to understanding

- In depth understanding of Vestibular Assessment and Rehabilitation
